How does Schoolytics define missing versus completed work?

This article explains the definitions for assignment status in Schoolytics.

Summary assignment metrics

 

Assignment Completion

Percentage of all past assignments completed by the student (marked done or turned in) or returned with a non-zero grade by the teacher.

Note: This does not include assignments due in the future.

On-Time Assignments

Percentage of all past assignments that are completed (marked done or turned in) by the due date.

Grade Average

Unweighted grade average on assignments.

Assignments Graded 

Percentage of all assignments for which grades can be entered into the gradebook that have been graded by the teacher.


 

Assignment Status metrics

These metrics apply to the status of individual assignments in Schoolytics.  

Assignment Status Definition
Assigned

Teacher has assigned work to student. Student has not turned in the assignment. 

Due date has not yet passed. 

Submitted Student has turned in or marked assignments as done. 
Unsubmitted Student has unsubmitted the assignment. 
Resubmitted Student has resubmitted the assignment. 
Reassigned

Teacher has returned an assignment to a student with no grade or grade of 0.

Due date has not yet passed. 

Missing

Due date has passed. 

The teacher has assigned work to the student. Student has not turned in the assignment.
OR

Teacher has returned work to a student with no grade, or a grade of 0.

Accepted Teacher has returned an assignment to a student. Assignment points are categorized as "ungraded".
Scored Teacher has returned an assignment with a grade >0.
